Working from a client's brief which emphasised ambition, originality and creativeness, we were commissioned to design and detail a loft extension in Chingford.
The desire to create an interesting roofscape and interior ceiling line led to the proposal of a pitched roof. Arched windows and doors complement the sharp angles of the roof. The internal split level design was exploited through an open plan layout which connected the levels via a small staircase.
